We started at Ashendon, rested briefly for a drink at ‘The Crown’ in Cuddington, and then made for Chearsley where we had lunch in the garden at ‘The Bell’. Thus fortified, we were ready for the final push back to Ashendon which was mostly uphill.

The attached photos (by Peter Ashton) show the group making their way between Ashendon and Cuddington, and the church and a cottage in Cuddington.
