VISIT TO THE HINDU TEMPLE and OSTERLEY PARK
This trip includes a comprehensive tour of the Hindu temple in Neasden and an afternoon in Osterley Park
MONDAY 12th MARCH 2018
We will leave Aylesbury (Jansel Square) at 8.15 am returning at 6.30pm (approximately)
The temple visit consists of a short welcome and introductory address, a video presentation, and a guided tour of the Mandir. It also includes the educational ‘Understanding Hindism’ exhibition At 11.45am we should be able to attend the Arti ceremony.
After the tour concludes we have booked a table at the Shayona restaurant which is on the site. The cost of the meal is included in the trip.
After lunch we will travel to Osterley Park where you can take a walk and enjoy a cup of tea before travelling back to Aylesbury.
Included in the cost:
- Coach fare
- Entrance to the exhibition at the temple
- Buffet Lunch at Shayona ( Vegetarian Indian: eat all you want
N.B. Before signing please read the dress code below
Please note that a strict dress code operates within the complex. Specifically, tops must cover the shoulders, chest, navel, and upper arms. Leg-wear must be at least below knee-length.
It is customary to remove footwear upon entering any part of the Haveli complex. Shoe racks are provided within the complex.
