Are you interested in facing the challenges of strategy, determination and concentration which each game of Chess represents? It is a most effective means of maintaining your mental alertness and imagination. The Chess Group comprises a wide range of abilities which offers equally rewarding experiences to those who have not played for 30 years as to those who have played regularly. The result of the friendly social context of the Group is to provide the understanding and support which each member requires to enable them to improve their ability while at the same time enjoying their game.
New members will be made most welcome whatever their level of ability or experience.
