The main purpose of this group is for members either male or female, who may be on their own or whose partners are not so socially minded, to be able to meet up with other members for outings, coffee mornings, lunch, shopping, pictures etc.

The idea is that once members of the group get to know each other better then they will be able to phone each other up and arrange to do something together. It would not mean that every member would go out together all the time although there may be occasions when we arrange a group outing to something of special interest.
