We hold a list of tradespeople who have been recommended by our members so if you are looking for someone to do ‘that’ job it might be worth checking with us to see if a member can recommend a tradesperson
Whilst neither the U3A or the recommending member can guarantee or accept responsibility for the work carried out it is useful to gain from other people’s experience. If you let us know the type of work you wish to be done we will try and provide you with details of members who have recommended a trades person with those skills. It is then up to you to contact the member and seek their advice. Obviously this scheme can only work if members are prepared to spend a few minutes to pass on their recommendations to us, and are prepared to talk to other members about their recommendation.
If you use any of the tradespeople recommended it would always be useful to have feedback – good or bad !
